What would Jesus do?
Nothing much happen today if you don’t consider me, Juli and Lisa giggling everytime Mr. Hodgins did ANYTHING, exciting. And I’m sure you don’t so…
I did meet some interesting people on the bus though. At the hospital these two guys in suits got on. And the one kept staring at me, which was more weird than anything else. A couple of stops later it was just me, and these two girls in the back, and the two guys, who had oddly split up to two sides of the bus. Anyway, I can hear the guy behind me talking to the other girls, and the second one just keeps looking at me, and suddenly gets up and sits with me. I’m all like ‘!!!’. So, he asks me where I’m going, if I’m having a good day and so on, freaking me out the entire time. And finally, I ask him, “uhh, so who are you?”. And of all things, he goes, “I’m a missionary, I tell people about Jesus.” Seeing as I’m a horrible person, my first instinct was to laugh. I didn’t, and I did hear him out. He only had one point really, and kept rewording himself. Articulately mind you, but it was pretty pointless still. Now I have a coupon for a free tape about Jesus. How many of you can say your day was that productive?
Oh, and he was about to tell me all about some prophet whose name I forget at the moment. Apparently he's still alive and all, so I think it would have been cool to know more about that. Like whether God's speaking to him..or something..
Chen got on halfway through this guy's giant speech, and I'm dying to know what he thought, because I could swear I heard him giggle at least once.
I got home and told my parents, and my dad decides to get all in a twist because I was listening to the guy. I was so mad. I mean, sure I was raised a certain way, and I’m not planning to go to church anytime soon, but wouldn’t he feel a lot better if I made up my own mind about all that stuff?
Bah, I’d still be mad if their website wasn’t at 'mormon.org'.
