Making me glorious
I need a new layout, one in which I won't be compelled to write so much. Somewhere I can write profound revelations, and not have Bugs Bunny laughing at me.
I made a therapeutic Cd today. It SOUNDS crazy, but it does work. See, to make one you need to have a random teenager angst problem. Then, there's a week during which every single song you hear somehow relates to what you're feeling. You need to have a moment in which you realize you need help, the first step is admitting you have a problem. My "a-ha!" moment came sometime after 2 am yesterday...or today rather. Anyway, the reason this compilation works is that you have to take time to think about it. Listening to these songs, and paying attention to the lyrics helps because chances are someone has already had a similar problem, then solved it, and then wrote a song about it. It makes you think about things you may not have really considered before, and at any rate it's better than talking to yourself. And finally, you have to put the songs in an order than makes sense. For example "I ate cake", "Now i'm fat", "Liposuction", etc etc.
Oh, and at the end you have to make sure to add on some kick ass girl songs, Christina, Britney etc.
Well, my cd made me feel better. And I was in an infinitely better mood as the last track came around:
"My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard, and they're like it's better than yours"
P.S. Damn right it's better than yours.
