I got to keep some horse radish

I was all ready to get 5 whole hours of community hours, except that i completely forgot that Markham Fair ends at 6. So, now i'm left with a measly 2 hours. It's ok though, cause it was pretty fun for my first volunteering adventure. I got there first, so i got to stay in the Kiwanis hut, which was surprisingly warm. I was left in charge of hot chocolate, coffee, and juice and pop. In total i sold two chocolates, and one coffee. Go me!

The rest of the time I spent talking to Ted, the president of the [Kiwanis] club. He was very...um, blunt. Somehow we started talking about birth control pills, and he got all "back in my day..." on me. Apperently birth control pills have killed Canada on some level. Also, i learned that the first ones were completely useless in the 50s-60s...and then something about a vasectomy. Nervous giggling on my part followed. Ahhh, the excitement of it all.

Everybody should come with me to Key Club next meeting, it's lots of fun, and you get stuff done. It's win-win!! Go!!

In other news, you missedmy birthday!! Yes you! But it's ok, because I'm having a party on Friday! Everyone's invited, except that I'd appreciate some heads up beforehand, just so I'm in THE LOOP.

I looked in my mirror a second ago, and i saw daisy fuentes, not me. And i was like, what the fuck?
